Where it runs
Two watchlists exist and they are not the same thing. The one on coinrotator.app/watchlist is stored in your browser, needs no account, and does not sync. The Shumi Web watchlist is tied to your account and persists across devices. Clearing browser storage loses the first and not the second.
What it does
Keeps a set of assets addressable across the product, so a screen, a signal check, or a chat question can be scoped to the things you actually hold or follow rather than to the whole universe. The pattern it is built for: narrow the universe once with the screener, save the survivors, then check them against signals, regime, and funding repeatedly over days.What it is not
Not an alerting system. A watchlist does not notify you. Funding alerts are a separate surface (/api/cli/funding/alerts), and CoinRotator’s 4H Alerts screener is a separate thing again.
Not a portfolio. No positions, no sizes, no P&L. Shumi does not know what you hold, and cannot. There is no exchange connection anywhere in the system.
Not the decision engine. Watching an asset does not make it a candidate. The list is a convenience over the same data everyone else sees.
